The National Council (, ) is one of the two houses of the Austrian Parliament and is frequently referred to as the lower house. Carinthia West (National Council Electoral District)
Carinthia West (; ), also known as Electoral District 2C (), is one of the 39 multi-member regional electoral districts of the National Council, the lower house of the Austrian Parliament, the national legislature of Austria. The electoral district was created in 1992 when electoral regulations were amended to add regional electoral districts to the existing state-wide electoral districts and came into being at the following legislative election in 1994. It consists of the districts of Feldkirchen, Hermagor and Spittal an der Drau in the state of Carinthia. The electoral district currently elects three of the 183 members of the National Council using the open party-list proportional representation electoral system. 2024 Austrian Legislative Election

Radio Kärnten is the regional radio for Carinthia and is part of the Österreich 2 group. It is broadcast by the ORF, and the programs from Radio Kärnten are made in the ORF Kärnten Studio. From Monday to Friday at 6.30 pm local time it broadcasts a short information space called “Dreisprachige Nachrichten” (news in three languages) within the program "Servus Srecno Ciao". with short-term news in German, Slovenian and Italian. Lendorf
Lendorf is a municipality in the district of Spittal an der Drau in the Austrian state of Carinthia. Geography It consists of the '' Katastralgemeinden'' Lendorf and Hühnersberg. History Situated in the Drava valley west of Spittal an der Drau, Lendorf is the site of an ancient town with about 30,000 inhabitants called ''Teurnia'' (later ''Tiburnia''), that arose about 50 and in the 5th century became the capital of the Roman province Noricum mediterraneum.
