Timothy Derickson
Timothy Derickson (born March 20, 1960) is the former state representative for the 53rd District of the Ohio House of Representatives, as well as a former Hanover Township Trustee. Career Derickson was born on March 20, 1960, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and after graduation from Clark State University and Miami University, Derickson worked as a health care administrator before starting Colonial Woods Furniture and Indian Ridge Golf Course on land that was previously his family's dairy farm. The former Hanover Township trustee is also a Coldwell Banker realtor. In April 2017, Derickson was named assistant director at the Ohio Department of Agriculture (ODA). During a portion of his service with ODA, he served as interim director. Shawn Webster
Shawn Webster (born March 3, 1949) is a former Republican member of the Ohio House of Representatives, who represented the 53rd District from 2001 to 2008. Life and career Webster graduated from the Ohio State University with a degree in veterinary medicine. He has been a veterinarian in the Butler County area for over thirty years. Webster is married with three children. Prior to his tenure in the Ohio House, Webster served on the Ross Local School Board for a number of years. Ohio House of Representatives With Representative Gene Krebs term limited, Webster was one of three Republicans who sought to succeed him in the Ohio House of Representatives. Ohio Senate
The Ohio Senate is the upper house of the Ohio General Assembly. The State Senate, which meets in the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus, first convened in 1803. Senators are elected for four year terms, staggered every two years such that half of the seats are contested at each election. Even numbered seats and odd numbered seats are contested in separate election years. The president of the Ohio Senate presides over the body when in session, and is currently Rob McColley. Currently, the Senate consists of 24  Republicans and 9  Democrats, with the Republicans controlling two more seats than the 22 required for a supermajority vote. Senators are limited to two consecutive terms.
