Tim Tawa
Timothy John Tawa (born April 7, 1999) is an American professional baseball utility player for the Arizona Diamondbacks of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2025. Amateur career Tawa attended West Linn High School in West Linn, Oregon. He played quarterback and set Oregon state records with 11,337 passing yards, 143 touchdown passes and 714 completions. As a senior, he won a state championship over Central Catholic High School. He shared a backfield with running back Elijah Molden. Alex Forsyth was an offensive lineman for Tawa throughout their youth and high school football careers. His head coach at West Linn was Chris Miller. Tawa was named Gatorade's Player of the Year in Oregon for football three times and in baseball one time. He was also named the MaxPreps Male High School Athlete of the Year. Alex Forsyth (American Football)
Alexander Forsyth (born February 13, 1999) is an American professional football center for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Oregon Ducks. Early life Forsyth was born on February 13, 1999, in West Linn, Oregon. He played football at West Linn High School, where he was named first-team all-state as a junior and senior. A three-star recruit, Forsyth committed to play college football at Oregon. College career Forsyth redshirted his first year at Oregon in 2017. He appeared in five games in both of the following seasons, seeing action at right guard, right tackle and left guard. 2021 Major League Baseball Draft
The 2021 Major League Baseball draft took place on July 11–13, 2021. In conjunction with the 2021 Major League Baseball All-Star Game, the draft was held in Denver. The draft assigned amateur baseball players to MLB teams. The draft order was set based on the reverse order of the 2020 MLB season standings. In addition, compensation picks were distributed for players who did not sign from the 2020 MLB draft and for teams who lost qualifying free agents. On March 26, 2020, MLB and the MLBPA reached a deal that included the option to halve the draft to 20 rounds due to the COVID-19 pandemic. MLB ultimately opted to shorten the draft to 20 rounds. The Falmouth Commodores are a collegiate summer baseball team based in Falmouth, Massachusetts. The team is a member of the Cape Cod Baseball League (CCBL) and plays in the league's West Division. Collegiate Summer Baseball
Collegiate summer baseball leagues are amateur baseball leagues in the United States and Canada featuring players who have attended at least one year of college and have at least one year of athletic eligibility remaining. Generally, they operate from early June to early August. In contrast to college baseball, which allow aluminum or other composite baseball bats, players in these leagues use only wooden bats, hence the common nickname of these leagues as "wood-bat leagues".
