Tim Brooks (basketball)
Timothy Brooks (born 1971) is an American former professional basketball player, who played for Olimpas Plungė in Lithuania. He is better known, however, for his collegiate career at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. College career After two years of playing junior college basketball, Brooks transferred to Chattanooga in the fall of 1991, to spend his final two years of National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) eligibility, to play for the Mocs. Brooks established himself as one of the best players to ever suit up for the program. As of 2013, and in only two seasons of competition, he is still tied for second for the most assists (414) in a career, while he holds the top single season records for assists (209) and steals (83) in a season. He was a two-time First Team All-Southern Conference (SoCon) selection, and as a senior, he was the SoCon tournament MVP. Bold (originally named Crippled Youth) is an American late 1980s youth crew hardcore band from Westchester County, New York, which, along with bands like Youth of Today and Side by Side, were a part of the Youth Crew and an influence in the late 80s straight edge hardcore scene. The band progressed to a more rock-oriented sound in its later years. History 1986–1993: Original run Originally called Crippled Youth, the band was formed in Katonah, New York, by Matt Warnke (vocals), Tim Brooks (bass) and Drew Thomas (drums). After a couple of shows with Matt singing and playing guitar, they recruited John 'Zulu' Zuluaga on guitar, and Matt switched to just singing. Timothy Paul Brooks (December 4, 1947 – June 30, 2020), better known by his ring name Killer Tim Brooks, was an American professional wrestler. He competed in North American regional promotions, including the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), Pacific Northwest Wrestling (PNW), World Wrestling Council (WWC), World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW) and Southwest Championship Wrestling (SWCW) during the 1970s and 1980s. Professional wrestling career Brooks got his start in 1967, joining his cousin Dick Murdoch in the Detroit and Toronto territories. He wore a hard hockey player's elbow guard and used it as a weapon. Verdell Smith, a.k.a. Tommy Bowles, a.k.a. Tim Brooks (born November 1, 1963) is an American former professional boxer. Smith, a journeyman fighter, appeared on the front page of the May 10, 2004, edition of ''The New York Times'', as he was the focal point of a lengthy article in the Times's sports section on alleged fight fixing. The band consists of vocalists Jordan Brown and Matt Wilson, drummer Mike Ambrose, guitarists Audelio Flores Jr and Daniel Coddaire and bassist Joe Saucedo.
