Patrick Daniel Tillman Jr. (November6, 1976– April22, 2004) was an American professional American football, football player for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL) who left his sports career and enlisted in the United States Army United States Army Special Operations Command, Special Operations in May 2002 in the aftermath of the September 11 attacks, September11 attacks. Saint Thillo (or Théau, Tillon, Thielman, Tilloine, Tilman, Tyllo; ) was a Saxon slave who was converted by Saint Eligius and became a priest at Solignac Abbey. He accompanied Eloi in missionary work, returned to Solignac, and was made abbot. Unable to handle the responsibility, he left the abbey and became a hermit. His feast day is 7 January. Tilman Riemenschneider ( 1460 – 7 July 1531) was a German wood carving, woodcarver and sculptor active in Würzburg from 1483. He was one of the most prolific and versatile sculptors of the transition period between the Gothic art, Late Gothic, to which he essentially belonged, and Northern Renaissance art, a master in Tilia, limewood and stone. He was also a local politician in the council of Würzburg. Most of his subjects are religious, including several very large and spectacular carved wood altarpieces, as well as tombs in stone, and statues. Tilman Pesch (1 February 1836, at Cologne – 18 October 1899, at Valkenburg, Limburg, the Netherlands), was a German Jesuit philosopher. Life He became a Jesuit on 15 October 1852, and made his novitiate at Friedrichsburg near Münster; he studied classics two years at Paderborn, philosophy two years at Bonn; taught four years at Feldkirch, Austria; studied theology one year at Paderborn and three years at Maria-Laach, after which he made his third year of novitiate at Paderborn. He then taught philosophy at Maria-Laach (1867–69). From 1870 to 1876 he worked in the ministry, and again taught philosophy eight years (1876–84), at the Castle of Bleijenbeek in Afferden. Tilman Bacon Parks (May 14, 1872 – February 12, 1950) was an American lawyer and politician who served eight terms as a U.S. Representative from Arkansas from 1921 to 1937. Early life and education Born near Lewisville, Arkansas on May 14, 1872, Parks attended the local common schools. He then attended the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Virginia at Charlottesville. He studied law and was admitted to the bar in 1900, after which he opened a private law practice in Lewisville. Political career He served as member of the Arkansas House of Representatives from 1901 to 1904, then again from 1909 to 1911.
