Tikkle Me
Tikkle Me was a Swedish band from Eskilstuna which was formed in 2006 by Frida Herchenröther and Karin Taberman. The band is signed to the Skellefteå-based record label :sv:A West Side Fabrication, A West Side Fabrication. Herchenröther writes the songs and sings in live performances while Taberman plays the keyboard. Lately the band included more visual elements of their live performances including background dancers and background projections. Tikkle Me has played at some of the biggest Swedish festivals, including Peace & Love (festival), Peace & Love, Hultsfred Festival, Hultsfred, Arvika Festival, Arvika and Emmaboda; they've also played in Russia, Ukraine (particularly at Gogolfest) and Belarus. Eskilstuna () is a Urban areas in Sweden, city and the seat of Eskilstuna Municipality, Södermanland County, Sweden. Arvika Festival
Arvika Festival () was an annual music festival held in Arvika, Sweden. It took place during three days in the middle of July, from Thursday to Saturday, with camping available from the beginning of the week. The non-profit association "Galaxen" (Swedish for "The Galaxy") arranged the festival. Since the nineties, the festival had built up a tradition of booking many big synth bands. This was initially an unintended side effect: for the first festival in 1992 the arrangers had booked Cat Rapes Dog, Pouppée Fabrikk and S.P.O.C.K. and about 50% of the audience that showed up was actually mostly interested in these bands since no other festival booked many synth acts. Hultsfred Festival
The Hultsfred Festival () was an annual music festival held in Hultsfred, Sweden. It took place at the lake Hulingen for three days in June or July, from Thursday to Saturday. Since the first festival in 1986, its attendance increased from 7,500 visitors to approximately 32,000 people in 2005. With its five different stages, the Hultsfred Festival hosted many bands each year (154 in 2007) from all over Scandinavia and the world alike. Due to an increase in ticket pricing and what the public recognized as a poor lineup in 2007, festival attendance had been declining. The festival went bankrupt in 2010, and the whole event was cancelled that year, but it was resurrected in 2011. Peace & Love (festival)
Peace & Love was the largest music festival in Sweden, known for its Humanitarianism, humanitarian message, pervasive throughout the event. It started in Borlänge and ran from 1999 until the company filed for bankruptcy in 2013. The Peace & Love Crew announced that they would continue to do the much loved festival and in 2014 the festivals were back on under the name "Peace & Love World Forum". Since then it has expanded and has gone back to its old name "Peace & Love". The festival was cancelled in 2020 due to the ongoing pandemic, and shortly the festival declared bankruptcy.
