"Tidal Wave" is the third single by British DJ and record producer Sub Focus to be released from his second studio album ''Torus''. The song features vocals from Alpines. The song peaked at number 12 on the UK Singles Chart and number four on the UK Dance Chart, making it his highest-charting single until "Endorphins" and " Turn Back Time", which both peaked at number 10 on the UK Singles Chart. It is still his highest-charting single on the UK Dance Chart and his biggest-selling single. Nicolaas Douwma (born 13 April 1982), better known by his stage name Sub Focus, is an English DJ, music producer, songwriter and sound engineer. He has been releasing records since 2003. On 12 October 2009, he released his self-titled debut album. He released his second album, ''Torus'', on 30 September 2013. Douwma's album in collaboration with Wilkinson titled '' Portals'' was released on 9 October 2020 through Casablanca Records. His fourth album, '' Evolve'', was released on 12 May 2023. Clyde Sergio Narain (born 25 June 1978), known professionally as Chuckie, is a Surinamese-born Dutch DJ, rapper and producer. Chuckie was born in Paramaribo, Suriname. The twelve-inch single (often written as 12-inch or 12) is a type of vinyl (polyvinyl chloride or PVC) gramophone record that has wider groove spacing and shorter playing time with a "single" or a few related sound tracks on each surface, compared to LPs (long play) which have several songs on each side. It is named for its diameter that was intended for LPs. This technical adaptation allows for louder levels to be cut on the disc by the mastering engineer, which in turn gives a wider dynamic range, and thus better sound quality. Born in Portsmouth UK on 20th January 1977, Simon Bird is an artist, producer and DJ often credited as Simon Neale who is best known by stage names Shadow Child and Dave Spoon. He's a member of the group 'Lovequest' with Doorly and Scissor Sisters frontman Jake Shears and also 'MASC', a duo formed with Altern 8 legend Mark Archer.
