Tianwa Yang
Tianwa Yang (, born 8 April 1987) is a Chinese classical violinist. Biography and career Tianwa Yang began learning to play the violin at age four and quickly began winning violin competitions. At age ten, she began studying with Professor Lin Yaoji at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, and already was receiving media attention for the quality of her playing. After she performed at the 1999 Beijing Music Festival, violinist Isaac Stern invited her to play with him in the United States. Yang debuted in Europe in 2001, performing with the Czech Broadcasting Symphony Orchestra in Prague. In 2003, she performed Prokofiev’s Concerto No. 2 in Munich with the Orchestra of the Bayerische Staatsoper, and followed this with recitals in Paris, Stockholm, Frankfurt and Vienna. 24 Caprices For Solo Violin (Paganini)
The 24 Caprices for Solo Violin were written in groups (seven, five and twelve) by Niccolò Paganini between 1802 and 1817. They are also designated as M.S. 25 in Maria Rosa Moretti's and Anna Sorrento's ''Catalogo tematico delle musiche di Niccolò Paganini'' which was published in 1982. The '' Caprices'' are in the form of études, with each number exploring different skills (double stopped trills, extremely fast switching of positions and strings, etc.) Ricordi first published them in 1820, where they were grouped and numbered from 1 to 24 as Op. 1, together with 12 Sonatas for Violin and Guitar (Op. 2 and 3) and 6 Guitar Quartets (Op. 4 and 5). Klassische Philharmonie Bonn (Classical philharmonic Bonn) is a German touring symphony orchestra, based in Bonn, North Rhine-Westphalia. It was founded by Heribert Beissel in 1986, derived from the Chur Cölnisches Orchester that he had founded in 1959 to perform music played originally at the Bonn court of the Electors of Cologne. Beissel conducted the orchestra until his death in 2021.
