Tiana (Disney)
Tiana Rogers is a fictional character in Walt Disney Pictures' animated film ''The Princess and the Frog'' (2009). Created by writers and directors Ron Clements and John Musker and animated by Mark Henn, Tiana is voiced by Anika Noni Rose, with Elizabeth M. Dampier voicing the character as a child. She is loosely based on two princesses: Princess Emma from the 2002 novel '' The Frog Princess'' by E. D. Baker, and the princess from the Brothers Grimm fairy tale "The Frog Prince". The character also was inspired by famed New Orleans chef Leah Chase. A hardworking waitress who dreams of opening her own restaurant, Tiana finds her ambitions stalled when she kisses a prince who has been turned into a frog by an evil witch doctor, only to transform into one herself. Tiana has been mostly positively received with critics praising her personality and values. Tia or Tiya was an ancient Egyptian princess during the 19th Dynasty. Family Tia was the daughter of Pharaoh Seti I and Queen Tuya and the older sister of Ramesses II. She is attested only on monuments dating to Ramesses' reign. Tia was married to an official who was also called Tia. The couple had two daughters, Mutmetjennefer and another, whose name did not survive. They were depicted in their parents' tomb in Saqqara. A slave name is the personal name given by others to an enslaved person, or a name inherited from enslaved ancestors. Ancient Rome In Rome, slaves were given a single name by their owner. Perry Index
The Perry Index is a widely used index of "Aesop's Fables" or "Aesopica", the fables credited to Aesop, the storyteller who lived in ancient Greece between 620 and 560 BC. The index was created by Ben Edwin Perry, a professor of classics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Modern scholarship takes the view that Aesop probably did not compose all of the fables attributed to him; indeed, a few are known to have first been used before Aesop lived, while the first record of many others is from well over a millennium after his time. Traditionally, Aesop's fables were arranged alphabetically, which is not helpful to the reader. Perry listed them by language (Greek then Latin), chronologically, by source, and then alphabetically; the Spanish scholar Francisco Rodríguez Adrados created a similar system. John Lasseter
John Alan Lasseter ( ; born January 12, 1957) is an American film director, producer, screenwriter, and animator. He was previously the chief creative officer of Pixar Animation Studios, Walt Disney Animation Studios, and Disneytoon Studios, as well as the Principal Creative Advisor for Walt Disney Imagineering, and has served as the head of animation at Skydance Animation since 2019. Lasseter began his career as an animator with The Walt Disney Company. After being fired from Disney for promoting computer animation, he joined Lucasfilm, where he worked on then-ground breaking usage of Computer-generated imagery, CGI animation.
