Tiago da Silva Rannow known as Tiago or Tiago Rannow (born 3 September 1982) is a Brazilian footballer for Santa Cruz. Biography Tiago started his career at Rio Grande do Sul state. In 2005 season he scored once in Campeonato Gaúcho and played in 2005 Campeonato Brasileiro Série C, which the team finished 4th. In February 2006 he signed a 2-year contract with Ipatinga. After failed to play any game in 2006 Campeonato Brasileiro Série C, he left for Joinville in October 2006, for a playoff to decide which team to represent Santa Catarina in 2007 Série C, eventually Joinville winning the playoff and the other teams would have to qualify via winning 2007 Campeonato Catarinense. 2011 Campeonato Brasileiro Série D
In 2011, the Campeonato Brasileiro Série D, the fourth division of the Brazilian League, will be contested for the third time in history, during 18 July and 13 November. It will be contested by 40 clubs, four of which will eventually qualify to the Campeonato Brasileiro Série C to be contested in 2012. Competition format The 40 teams are divided in eight groups of 5, playing within them in a double round-robin format. The two best ranked in each group at the end of 10 rounds will qualify to the Second Stage, which will be played in home-and-away system. Winners advance to Third Stage. The Copa Federação Gaúcha de Futebol, commonly known as the Copa FGF, is an annual cup competition organized by the Rio Grande do Sul state football federation for clubs that are in the first, second and third divisions of the Campeonato Gaúcho. It is held in the second half of the year and usually clubs participating in the higher levels of the Campeonato Brasileiro do not participate with the first team squad, using his academy.
