Tiago Esgaio
Tiago Alexandre Sousa Esgaio (born 1 August 1995) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays for Primeira Liga club F.C. Arouca mainly as a right-back. Club career B-SAD Born in Nazaré, Leiria District, played youth football for three clubs. He made his senior debut in the third division, spending one season apiece with Caldas S.C. and S.C.U. Torreense. On 4 April 2018, Esgaio moved straight to the Primeira Liga after signing a three-year contract with B-SAD to be made effective on 1 July. He was then loaned to Torreense for the upcoming third-tier campaign. Back at Belenenses, Esgaio played his first match in the Portuguese top flight on 15 September 2019, coming on as a late substitute in a 3–1 away win against C.S. Marítimo. Nazaré () is a Portuguese town and municipality located in the Oeste region, in the historical province of Estremadura, and in the Leiria District. The municipality has a population of 14,889 in an area of 82.43 km2, while the town itself has around 10,000 inhabitants. Rádio Renascença, also known as 'RR' or just 'Renascença' (Renaissance in English), is a private, commercial radio station in Portugal, owned by various organizations within the Portuguese Catholic Church: among others, the Patriarchate of Lisbon. The 2022–23 Taça da Liga was the sixteenth edition of the Taça da Liga (also known as Allianz Cup for sponsorship reasons), a football league cup competition organised by the Liga Portuguesa de Futebol Profissional and contested exclusively by clubs competing in the top two professional tiers of Portuguese football – the Primeira Liga and the Liga Portugal 2.
