Thổ People
The Thổ ethnic group (also Keo, Mon, Cuoi, Ho, Tay Poong) inhabits the mountainous regions of northern Vietnam, mainly Nghệ An Province southwest of Hanoi. Many Thổ speak the Cuoi language, Tho language, which is closely related to Vietnamese language, Vietnamese. The Thổ population numbered 91,430 in 2019. The Thổ are one of the 4 main groups of Vietic speakers in Vietnam, the others being the Vietnamese people, Việt, Muong people, Mường, and Chứt people, Chứt. The name Thổ, which means "autochthonous" was originally applied to the Tay people, Tày ethnic group, however this usage is obsolete. Jeff Tho
Jeffrey Tho (born 14 April 1988) is an Australian male badminton player. He competed at the 2010 and 2014 Commonwealth Games. In 2014, he won the gold medal at the Oceania Championships in the men's singles event, he also won bronze in 2008. Personal life Prior to beginning his badminton career, Tho worked as a dentist in Ballarat, Victoria. Lê Đức Thọ
Lê Đức Thọ (; 14 October 1911 – 13 October 1990), born Phan Đình Khải in Nam Dinh Province, was a Vietnamese revolutionary general, diplomat, and politician. He was the first Asian to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, jointly with United States Secretary of State Henry Kissinger in 1973, but refused the award. Communist revolutionary Lê Đức Thọ became active in Vietnamese nationalism as a teenager and spent much of his adolescence in French colonial prisons, an experience that hardened him. Thọ's nickname was "the Hammer" on account of his severity. In 1930, Thọ helped found the Indochinese Communist Party. French colonial authorities imprisoned him from 1930 to 1936 and again from 1939 to 1944. The French imprisoned him in one of the "tiger cage" cells on the prison located on the island of Poulo Condore (modern Côn Sơn Island) in the South China Sea, which was regarded as the harshest prison in all of French Indochina. T'ho () is a Mayan settlement located in the northwest of the Yucatán Peninsula, commonly indicated also with the alternative name of T'hó (in short), Ichcansiho, Ichkanzihóo or Ichcaanzihó. Þórshöfn Airport ( ) is an airport located in Þórshöfn, a village in northeast Iceland. It is also referred to as Thorshofn Airport in many English-language sources. Overview Þórshöfn Airport was previously located about 4.8 km to the northeast, at , near Sauðanes, and had the ICAO code BITH (but the same IATA code – THO). It had a slightly shorter runway with a gravel surface, which has since been closed. The airport has a very small terminal building of around .
