Thurman Adams Jr.
Thurman G. Adams Jr. (July 25, 1928 – June 23, 2009) was a Democratic member of the Delaware Senate, representing the 19th District. He was the longest-serving state senator in Delaware history, at the time of his death. Biography Adams was born in 1928 to Thurman and Bessie Lillian Adams. He was the youngest of four children, and grew up working on the farm during the Great Depression and World War II. He was educated in the public schools and graduated from the University of Delaware in 1950. Bayhealth Medical Center is a healthcare system serving the central and southern portion of Delaware in the United States. Bridgeville is a town in Sussex County, Delaware, Sussex County, Delaware, United States. According to the 2020 census, the population is 2,568. It is part of the Salisbury metropolitan area, Salisbury, Maryland-Delaware Metropolitan Statistical Area. History The town of Bridgeville is the oldest community in western Sussex County. Records of land transactions which were made in the first quarter of the 18th century suggest that a significant agricultural community already existed in the area by that period. Pancreatic cancer arises when cell (biology), cells in the pancreas, a glandular organ behind the stomach, begin to multiply out of control and form a Neoplasm, mass. These cancerous cells have the malignant, ability to invade other parts of the body. A number of types of pancreatic cancer are known.
