Thunderpants
''Thunderpants'' is a 2002 family absurdist comedy film about a boy whose incredible capacity for flatulence gets him a job as an astronaut. The film was directed by Pete Hewitt, whose previous work included '' Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey'' (1991) and '' The Borrowers'' (1997). The script was written by Phil Hughes, based on a story by Pete Hewitt about a boy who dreams of being a spaceman, despite his chronic flatulence. Plot Born with two stomachs, Patrick Smash (Bruce Cook) is uncontrollably and devastatingly flatulent. Peter Hewitt (director)
Peter Hewitt (born 9 October 1962) is an English film director and Screenwriter, writer. Career Upon graduating from the National Film and Television School in 1990, Hewitt flew to the United States with his British Academy of Film and Television Arts, BAFTA award-winning short film, ''The Candy Show'', in hand. Once there, he called executives from major Hollywood studios and asked if he could show them his film. Soon after, he landed an agent and made his feature film directorial debut with ''Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey'' (1991).
