''Thunder Warrior II'' ( it, Thunder 2) is an Italian action film written and directed by Fabrizio De Angelis. It is the sequel to the film ''Thunder Warrior''. The film is about a native American sheriff named Thunder, who is transferred to a small town in the desert, he finds out collusion between organised criminals and corrupt officials. Cast Release ''Thunder 2'' was released on home video in West Germany in March 1987. Reception From contemporary reviews, a review in the German film almanac ''Fischer Film Almnach'' declared that the film had more action and slow motion shots than the first film, but it just as much poor quality "direction, script and acting." A reviewer credited as "Lor." of ''Variety'' reviewed the film on Trans World Entertainment video cassette on June 9, 1987. William Rice (August 17, 1931 – January 23, 2006) was an American actor, artist, and member of the no wave avant-garde art scene in Manhattan's East Village for many years. Mark Gregory (born Marco De Gregorio, 2 May 1964 – 31 January 2013) was an Italian film actor. Career Gregory worked as a waiter, before being discovered in a gym in Rome. After his fiancée sent his picture to Fulvia Film, he was cast over some 2,000 candidates for the role of "Trash" in the 1982 science fiction thriller '' 1990: The Bronx Warriors'', starring alongside Christopher Connelly and Fred Williamson. ''Thunder Warrior'' ( it, Thunder, also known as ''Drug Traffikers'') is a 1983 Italian action film written and directed by Fabrizio De Angelis (credited as Larry Ludman). It had two sequels, one released in 1985 and the other in 1988. The premise borrows heavily from ''First Blood''. Premise A Native American named Thunder returns home following a long absence and discovers a construction company that's destroying a native burial ground, which is a breach of the treaty signed a century ago between his grandfather with the US Government.
