Place Vendome (band)
Place Vendome is a German melodic hard rock / AOR project, founded in 2004 at the direction of Frontiers Records president Serafino Perugino. Place Vendome was formed by Helloween and Unisonic vocalist Michael Kiske, Dennis Ward (bass and production), Kosta Zafiriou (drums) and Uwe Reitenauer (guitars) from the band Pink Cream 69 and Gunther Werno (keyboards) from the band Vanden Plas. The project has released four full-length albums; '' Place Vendome'' in 2005, ''Streets of Fire'' in 2009, '' Thunder in the Distance'' in 2013 and '' Close to the Sun'' in 2017. Labyrinth is an Italian power metal and progressive metal band formed in 1994 in Massa, Tuscany. The band underwent a change in style and themes after the departure of Olaf Thorsen in 2002. Olaf Thorsen came back in 2009. Dirk Bruinenberg
Dirk Bruinenberg (born 21 August 1968) is a Dutch musician known as the former drummer of several European progressive metal and power metal bands, including: Elegy, Ian Parry's Consortium Project and Adagio. He is often recognized for his intricate drumming style and technical double bass patterns. In the late 1980s and early 90s, Bruinenberg played with Dutch thrash metal bands Abyss and Vulture. Subsequently, he joined Elegy in 1993, replacing original drummer Ed Warby of Gorefest. He recorded seven albums with Elegy until 2002. The band toured throughout Europe and Japan alongside Stratovarius, Kamelot, Annihilator, Phantom Blue, The Gathering, Gorefest and others. After Elegy, Bruinenberg joined French progressive metal band Adagio with whom he recorded their first two albums. Michael Kiske (born 24 January 1968) is a German singer who is the co-lead vocalist for the power metal band Helloween.
