Thulisile Phongolo
Thulisile Phongolo (also Thuli P; born 22 January 1994) is an actor and disc jockey in South African media. Personal life Thulisile Phongolo was born on 22 January 1994. Her boyfriend, DJ Maphorisa, was arrested on 7 May 2023 after punching Phongolo in her Sandton, Johannesburg apartment; he was charged with multiple counts of assault. Career By September 2017, Phongolo was an amateur disc jockey, a profession she maintained through at least April 2023. Acting Phongolo began her acting career playing Zama on the South African Broadcasting Corporation's (SABC) TV series '' Tshisa''. While a prefect at her high school, Phongolo played Namhla Diale on the soap opera '' Generations: The Legacy''. Themba Sonnyboy Sekowe (born ), known professionally as DJ Maphorisa, is a South African DJ, record producer, singer, and songwriter. As a record producer with a blend of house music, amapiano and afropop, he has worked with and has received production credits from several notable artists, including Wizkid, Sizwe Alakine, Kwesta, Uhuru, Drake, Black Coffee, Major Lazer, Runtown, C4 Pedro, TRESOR, Kabza De Small and Era Istrefi. He was signed to Kalawa Jazmee Records prior to establishing his own record label, BlaqBoy Music. Telenovela
A telenovela is a type of a television serial drama or soap opera produced primarily in Latin America. The word combines ''tele'' (for "television") and ''novela'' (meaning "novel"). Similar drama genres around the world include '' teleserye'' (Philippines), '' téléroman'' (Canada, specifically Quebec), and '' sinetron'' (Indonesia). Commonly described using the American colloquialism Spanish soap opera, many telenovelas share some stylistic and thematic similarities to the soap opera familiar to the English-speaking world. The significant difference is their series run length; telenovelas tell one self-contained story, typically within the span of a year or less whereas soap operas tend to have intertwined storylines told during indefinite, continuing runs. A people is any plurality of persons considered as a whole. Used in politics and law, the term "a people" refers to the collective or community of an ethnic group or nation.
