It is the 20th tallest building in Pittsburgh. 2012 hostage incident On the morning of September 21, 2012, 22-year-old military veteran Klein Michael Thaxton (who reportedly had a criminal record, and was believed to be carrying a gun and two duffel bags) stormed into a 16th-floor office of CW Breitsman Associates and took a male hostage while letting at least two females go. Police believed a male hostage was targeted because Thaxton was believed to have asked for a particular male. The Alcoa Building (a.k.a. the Regional Enterprise Tower) is a skyscraper in downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was completed in 1953 and has 31 floors. It is the 15th tallest building in the city and is adjacent to Mellon Square. A unique radiant heating and cooling system is contained in the ceiling: since there are no pipes, radiators, or air conditioning units along the exterior walls, an additional of rentable space was gained. 525 William Penn Place (also known as the Citizens Bank Tower) is a skyscraper located in downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Gateway Center (PAT Station)
Gateway station is a station on Pittsburgh Regional Transit's light rail network, located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Until October 30, 2009, it was the network's westernmost extent within downtown Pittsburgh. The Port Authority closed Gateway Center as part of construction work on the North Shore Connector project, and a new station opened in 2012 (though its name was truncated from "Gateway Center" to simply "Gateway").
