The Three Continents Festival (French: ''Festival des 3 Continents'') is an annual film festival held since 1979 in Nantes, France, devoted to the cinemas of Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Montgolfière D'or
The Montgolfier brothers – Joseph-Michel Montgolfier (; 26 August 1740 – 26 June 1810) and Jacques-Étienne Montgolfier (; 6 January 1745 – 2 August 1799) – were aviation pioneers, balloonists and paper manufacturers from the Communes of France, commune Annonay in Ardèche, France. They invented the ''Montgolfière''-style hot air balloon, globe aérostatique, which launched the first confirmed piloted ascent by humans in 1783, carrying Jacques-Étienne. Joseph-Michel also invented the self-acting hydraulic ram (1796) and Jacques-Étienne founded the first paper-making vocational school. Together, the brothers invented a process to manufacture Vellum#Paper vellum, transparent paper. ''Angela Markado'' is a 1980 Philippine crime drama film directed by National Artist Lino Brocka. It is written by Jose Lacaba based on a comics serial by Carlo J. Caparas. Conrado Baltazar is the film's cinematographer and Augusto Salvador is its editor. The film stars Hilda Koronel, Raoul Aragon, Rez Cortez, Johnny Delgado, Ruel Vernal, and Celia Rodriguez. Ömer Kavur
Ömer Kavur (18 June 1944 – 12 May 2005) was a Turkish film director, producer and screenwriter. He directed fourteen films between 1974 and 2003. His film, '' Gece Yolculuğu'' was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 1988 Cannes Film Festival. Amir Naderi (, , born 15 August 1946, in Abadan) is an Iranian film director, screenwriter, and photographer. He is best known for '' The Runner'' and '' Vegas: Based on a True Story''. Career Amir Naderi grew up in Abadan, a working-class port city in southern Iran. He developed his knowledge of cinema by watching films at the theater where he worked as a boy, reading film criticism, and making relationships with leading film critics. He became interested in photography and cinema at an early age. As a filmmaker, he was inspired by Henri Cartier-Bresson's photography of urban experience and everyday life, as well as the aesthetics of Italian neorealist cinema, such as location shooting and nonprofessional actors, looser narrative structures, and a focus on the plight of poor and working-class people.
