Thomas W. Lynch
Thomas W. Lynch (born February 25, 1956 in Los Angeles, California) is an American television series creator and executive producer who is the head of his own production company, Tom Lynch Company (previously Lynch Entertainment which is owned by Lynch Pictures, as well as Lynch/Biller Productions with Gary Biller) based in Los Angeles, CA. Career The New York Times referred to him as "the David E. Kelley of Tween TV," a reference to his prolific array of successful television shows aimed at the 8- to 14-year-old age group. He has created several hit teenage/children's programs such as ''The Secret World of Alex Mack'', ''The Journey of Allen Strange'', and the drama series ''Caitlin's Way'' for Nickelodeon and the drama series ''Scout's Safari'' for Discovery Kids (which also aired on NBC during its original run on Discovery Kids). She first achieved chart success as part of the hip hop group the Black Eyed Peas. ''Class of 3000'' is an American animated musical television series created by André 3000 (best known as a member of the hip hop duo Outkast) for Cartoon Network. The series follows superstar and music teacher Sunny Bridges (voiced by 3000), who teaches a group of students at Atlanta, Georgia's Westley School of Performing Arts. YTV is a Canadian English language specialty channel owned by YTV Canada, Inc., a subsidiary of Corus Entertainment. The channel and its programming is targeted at children and young teenagers; its name was originally thought to be an abbreviation for "Youth Television", though the channel's website has denied this. ''Galidor: Defenders of the Outer Dimension'', sometimes shortened as ''Galidor'', is a 2002 television series that ran on YTV in Canada and Fox Kids in the United States in 2002 with a total of 26 half-hour episodes. The N (standing for Noggin) was a nighttime programming block on the Noggin television channel, aimed at preteens and teenagers. It was launched on April 1, 2002, by Viacom and Sesame Workshop. Before the block's introduction, Noggin's daytime lineup included tween shows such as ''A Walk in Your Shoes'', ''Sponk!'', and '' Big Kids''. Noggin is an American entertainment brand launched on February 2, 1999, as a joint venture between MTV Networks (owners of Nickelodeon) and Sesame Workshop. It started out as a cable television channel and interactive website, both centered around the concepts of imagination, creativity, and education.
