Thomas Jeneary
Thomas Michael Jeneary (born March 31, 1952) is a retired dentist and American politician in the state of Iowa. He was elected to the Iowa House of Representatives in 2018 and his term was set to end on January 8, 2023. He was born in Des Moines, Iowa and is a retired dentist and funeral director. He is the Vice Chair of the Iowa Board of Dental Examiners. The Iowa House of Representatives is the lower house of the Iowa General Assembly, the upper house being the Iowa Senate. There are 100 seats in the Iowa House of Representatives, representing 100 single-member districts across the state, formed by dividing the 50 Senate districts in half. Each district has a population of approximately 30,464 . The House of Representatives meets at the Iowa State Capitol in Des Moines. Unlike the upper house, the Iowa Senate, state House representatives serve two-year terms with the whole chamber up for re-election in even-numbered years. There are no term limits for the House. Le Mars is the county seat of Plymouth County, Iowa, United States. It is located on the Floyd River northeast of Sioux City. The population was 10,571 at the time of the 2020 census.
