Thomas Eidem
Bastian Thomas Laurits Eidem (born 31 January 1859) was a Norwegian schoolteacher and politician. He was born in Sykkylven Municipality (it was part of Ørskog Municipality at that time) to farmer Johannes Bastiansen Eidem and Brit Trulsdotter. He was elected representative to the Storting for the periods 1913–1915, 1916–1918 and 1925–1927, for the Liberal Party. Ørskog is a former municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The municipality existed from 1838 until its dissolution in 2020. The area is now part of Ålesund Municipality in the traditional district of Sunnmøre. The administrative centre was the village of Sjøholt. The other main village was Vaksvika, about south of Sjøholt. The European Route E39/ E136 highway ran through the municipality, connecting the towns of Ålesund and Molde. The Liberal Party (, , V; ) is a social liberal political party in Norway. It was founded in 1884 and is the oldest political party in Norway.
