''This Time'' is a 2016 Philippine romantic drama film directed by Nuel Crisostomo Naval, starring James Reid and Nadine Lustre. The film was loosely based on the Wattpad novel ''That One Summer'' by Aly Almario. It was released on May 4, 2016 by Viva Films. and made pesos on its first opening day of showing. Synopsis Coby Martinez ( James Reid) and Ava Buhay (Nadine Lustre) are childhood friends who only see each other every summer. Their friendship blossomed into a romance; however, they have yet to put a label on it. When Ava enters college she struggled with continuing her unclear relationship with Coby. She has met a new friend in Aldrin which made Coby reflect on the value of Ava in his life and their relationship. Robert James Reid (born 11 May 1993) is a Filipino-Australian singer-songwriter, actor, dancer, model, record producer and record label executive.
