"This Time" is a song recorded by the Australian band INXS. It is from their 1985 album '' Listen Like Thieves''. "This Time" was the second single after "What You Need" in Australia and New Zealand, but album's lead single elsewhere. It reached the top 20 in Australia. It was the only song from the album solely written by Andrew Farriss and Michael Hutchence. B-sides The single was released with various b-sides. The Australian version had the "countryesque" "Sweet as Sin", one of the few INXS songs written solely by Garry Gary Beers or sung by him. The UK release had an extended remix of "Original Sin". In the U.S., the b-side was "I'm Over You", written and sung by Jon Farriss. The Dutch Top 40 () is a weekly music chart compiled by ''Stichting Nederlandse Top 40''. It started as a radio program titled "Veronica Top 40", on the offshore radio, offshore station Radio Veronica in 1965. The Kent Music Report was a weekly record chart of Australian music singles and albums which was compiled by music historian David Kent from May 1974 through to January 1999. The chart was re-branded the Australian Music Report (AMR) in July 1987. From June 1988, the Australian Recording Industry Association, which had been using the top 50 portion of the report under licence since mid-1983, chose to produce their own listing as the ARIA Charts.
