"This Moment" is a ballad that was released as the debut single of Marie Picasso, the winner of the fourth series of the Swedish singing competition ''Idol'' in 2007. The song was written by Swedish songwriters Mårten and Lina Eriksson, and produced by the former. The song debuted and peaked at number one on the Swedish Singles Chart, holding the top spot for two consecutive weeks. It was certified double platinum for sales of over 40,000 copies. With the song, Picasso also scored a Svensktoppen hit, charting between 13 January and 10 February 2008. It peaked at number three on the chart. It also charted at Trackslistan, peaking at number seven, while topping Digilistan. Melodifestivalen 2008 was the 47th Melodifestivalen, and the selection process for the 48th song to represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest. A new rule—''Lex Agnes''—went into effect in 2008 calling for each submitted entry to include a document containing all information relevant to the song. It was named after Agnes Carlsson, who was disqualified from the 2007 competition for publicly revealing details of her song before the deadline. Format Melodifestivalen 2008 included 32 songs split up into four heats with eight participants in each. The heats were held between 9 February and 1 March 2008 and at each, the two top placing songs went to the final, while the third and fourth place songs went to the Andra Chansen (Second Chance Round). Tracks, or Trackslistan, was a top 20 song list and a program of the Swedish Radio channel SR P3. The program premiered on 8 September 1984, and was broadcast on Saturday afternoons. The listeners voted for the songs they think is the best. Track list was one of the top music charts in Sweden. The predecessor of the Tracks was "Poporama ''Poporama'' was a weekly radio show on Swedish National Radio (Sveriges Radio P3) from 1974 to 1984, presented by Kaj Kindvall, that listed the hits of the week.
