''This Is Thirteen'' is the thirteenth studio album by Canadian heavy metal band Anvil. The original release of ''This Is Thirteen'' has 13 tracks to coincide with the album title. Some tracks are included in the movie ''Anvil! The Story of Anvil'', which devotes some time to the recording of the album, specifically the song "Game Over". In addition, "Burning Bridges" is heard in ''The Final Destination'', but is not on the soundtrack to that film. ''This Is Thirteen'' sold over 1,400 copies in its first week of release in the United States, and by 2009 it had sold over 7,300 copies in the United States. Anvil is a Canadian Heavy metal music, heavy metal band formed in Toronto in 1978. The band currently consists of founding members guitarist/vocalist Steve "Lips" Kudlow and drummer Robb Reiner, along with bassist Chris Robertson who joined in 2014. As of 2024, the band has released twenty studio albums; they have been cited as having influenced many notable heavy metal groups including Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax (American band), Anthrax, and Metallica. Speed metal is a subgenre of heavy metal music that originated in the late 1970s from new wave of British heavy metal (NWOBHM) roots.K. Christopher Andrew Tsangarides (17 August 1956 – 6 January 2018) was a British record producer, sound engineer, and mixer of Greek Cypriot origin. He was best known for his work with many heavy metal artists, including Gary Moore, Thin Lizzy, Judas Priest, Helloween, Anvil, Angra, Anthem, Yngwie Malmsteen, and Tygers of Pan Tang. Tsangarides worked with many pop and alternative artists as well, including Depeche Mode, UK Decay , Tom Jones, Concrete Blonde, and The Tragically Hip. Early life Tsangarides was born in Famagusta, Cyprus. He learned to play piano as a child and studied trumpet at the Royal Academy of Music, before studying economics at college. ''The Final Destination'' is a 2009 American 3D supernatural horror film directed by David R. Ellis and written by Eric Bress. Steve "Lips" Kudlow
Steven Barry "Lips" Kudlow (born March 2, 1956) is a Canadian musician who is the guitarist and lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Anvil. He co-founded the band with drummer Robb Reiner in 1978, having played together since 1973. Early life Kudlow's father bought him a guitar at the age of nine, leading him to become involved in playing music, with the intention of starting a lifelong musical project. Speaking of his music during this time, Kudlow has stated that his focus was primarily on writing original material, elaborating with "I made sure it would consume all my time.
