''This Is Medicine'' is the only studio album by American hardcore band Reversal Of Man, released on August 9, 1999 through Ebullition Records. Jeremy Bolm of Touché Amoré named the album as one of his favorites. Background Reversal Of Man first formed in 1995 in Tampa, Florida and spent most of their time as a band touring and releasing music before breaking up in 2000. In July 1996, their split 12" vinyl with Canadian band Holocron was released through Intention Records, which caught the attention of Ebullition Records owner Kent McClard, who eventually agreed to release ''This Is Medicine'' (after plans fell through to release the album through Intention Records). To support the album, the band toured across Europe during the spring of 1999, and they subsequently toured the United States during the summer of that same year with Combatwoundedveteran. Temple Terrace, Florida
Temple Terrace is a city in northeastern Hillsborough County, Florida, United States, adjacent to Tampa. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 26,690. Ebullition Records
Kent McClard is a record label owner and zine publisher from Goleta, California. Early life McClard grew up in a "broken home" and describes himself as a troublesome child. During his teenage years, he found solace in hardcore punk, which profoundly influenced him and played a defining role in his life. Inspired by its freedom and ethics, he embarked on various DIY ventures, including organizing what is believed to be the first local show and publishing the first fanzine in his town. Ebullition Records In early 1990, McClard, a former ''Maximumrocknroll'' columnist, teamed up with Sonia Skindrud, the writer of the zine, Exedra, and Brent Stephens, a member of Downcast, to establish Ebullition Records. Jeremy Bolm
Jeremy X. Bolm is an American vocalist, record label owner, music producer and writer. In his music career, he is most known for being the full-time vocalist of the post-hardcore band Touché Amoré. He has also performed with the part-time bands Thriller, Deadhead and Hesitation Wounds. Outside of performing, Bolm runs the indie record label Secret Voice and self-publishes his own poetry zines. Personal life Before deciding to be a member of Touché Amoré full-time, Bolm worked various jobs in the music and entertainment industry. He worked at a local record store and did freelance work for multiple publications including ''LA Weekly''.
