Thiruda Thirudi
''Thiruda Thirudi'' () is a 2003 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film written and directed by debutant Subramaniam Siva. The film stars Dhanush and Chaya Singh (in her Tamil film debut), with Karunas, Manikka Vinayagam, and Krishna in supporting roles. It was released on 5 September 2003 and became a success. Subramaniam Siva is an Indian film director and actor who works in the Tamil film industry. Career Directing Subramaniam Siva made his debut with the romantic comedy ''Thiruda Thirudi'' in 2003, featuring Dhanush and Chaya Singh. The success of the film meant that he later remade it in Telugu as ''Donga Dongadi'' (2004) with a new cast. Dappankuthu
Dappankuthu (or simply Kuthu; ) is a folk dance and music genre, that is typically danced to the Gaana music genre or Kuthu Beats with an emphasis on percussion performed in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is one of several popular genres employed in film music, mainly in Tamil cinema and other South films, filmed and produced by people of Tamil culture. Unlike classical Indian dances such as bharatanatyam or kathakali, dappankuthu is relatively informal in that it has no structured, repeated steps and dancers do not learn through formal dance classes. Chelladurai (1941 - 7 February 2015) was an Indian comedian who worked in Tamil-language films. He acted in over 350 films. Career Chelladurai made his film debut with '' Thooral Ninnu Pochchu'' (1982). He is known for his comic sequences with actor Vadivelu. He became famous for his role in '' Shree'' (2002) as the owner of a wine shop named Prabha. In the scene, a thief named Marimuthu ( Vadivelu) breaks into the shop and calls the owner and asks when the shop will open. The owner tells him that the store is closed. Vadivelu drinks alcohol and repeatedly disturbs the shop owner during the night.
