In Tamil, honorifics (, muṟai) governs daily speech and register of both written and spoken communication. Traditionally, Tamil has been classified into two registers ''viz'' செந்தமிழ் (Centamiḻ) meaning 'classical' or 'pure ' Tamil and கொடுந்தமிழ் (Koṭuntamiḻ) meaning 'corrupt' Tamil. A huge feature of this difference is honorifics. Tamil honorifics usually are suffixes, although prefixes are not uncommon. General Lexical choice Lexical choice plays a vital role in Tamil society as depending on the choice of words, the register may alter. Shri (; , ) is a Sanskrit term denoting resplendence, wealth and prosperity, primarily used as an honorific. The word is widely used in South and Southeast Asian languages such as Assamese, Meitei ( Manipuri), Marathi, Malay (including Indonesian and Malaysian), Javanese, Balinese, Sundanese, Sinhalese, Thai, Tamil, Telugu, Odia, Assamese, Punjabi, Hindi, Bengali, Nepali, Malayalam, Kannada, Sanskrit, Pali, Khmer, and also among Philippine languages. Thiru Krishnamoorthy (born 6 July 1979) is an Indian film director and screenwriter who works in Tamil cinema. He has directed films such as ''Theeradha Vilaiyattu Pillai'' (2010), ''Samar'' (2013) and '' Naan Sigappu Manithan'' (2014). Early life Career After assisting A. Rajasekhar in '' Sathyam'' (2008), Thiru made his directorial debut with ''Theeradha Vilaiyattu Pillai'' (2010), starring Vishal alongside three lead actresses. The film received mixed reviews and became a hit at the box office. After that Thiru again collaborated with Vishal in two films ''Samar'' (2013) and '' Naan Sigappu Manithan'' (2014). The former dealt with protagonist who unknowingly involved in a dangerous game and the latter dealt with hero suffering from narcolepsy. ''Thiru Ranga'' () is a 2007 Indian masala film directed by Ravi Bhargavan. The film was produced by A. Selvi and Ch. Sathyanarayana in Tamil and in Telugu, the latter as ''Julayi'' ( Wanderer). The film stars Santhosh and Ankitha, with Tejashree, Nassar, Jaya Prakash Reddy, Cochin Haneefa and Manivannan playing supporting roles. The Tamil version was released on 11 May 2007 while the Telugu version was released on 31 August 2007. Plot Ranga (Santhosh) lives in the city with his housemates : Beeda (Ramesh Khanna), Sunil (Sunil) and Sundaram (Sundar) who believes he is a software engineer.
