''Things Will Be Different'' is a 2024 American science fiction thriller film written and directed by Michael Felker in his directorial debut. It stars Adam David Thompson and Riley Dandy as brother and sister robbers who use time travel to lay low after their crimes. The film premiered at the 2024 South by Southwest festival on March 11, 2024, and was released on October 4, 2024, by Magnet Releasing. Plot Estranged siblings Joseph and Sidney reunite at a restaurant with $7m in cash following a botched robbery. Joseph has made plans for the two to lay low at a remote farmhouse which apparently contains a closet with the ability to transport occupants into an alternative timeline if they follow instructions in a notebook. At the farmhouse, with the police closing in, Joseph and Sidney locate the closet and follow the instructions. Adam David Thompson
Adam David Thompson is an American actor known for his roles in Outsiders (American TV series), ''Outsiders'', Godless (miniseries), ''Godless'', ''Mozart in the Jungle'', and others. Career Thompson made his feature film debut opposite Elizabeth Olsen in thriller ''Martha Marcy May Marlene'' in 2011. This was followed up by supporting roles in ''A Walk Among the Tombstones (film), A Walk Among the Tombstones'' and ''10 Things I Hate About Life''. 4 (four) is a number, numeral and digit. It is the natural number following 3 and preceding 5. It is a square number, the smallest semiprime and composite number, and is considered unlucky in many East Asian cultures. A simultaneous release, also known as a day-and-date release, is the release of a film on multiple platforms—most commonly theatrical, home video and video on demand (VOD)—on the exact same day, or in very close proximity to each other. This is in contrast to the industry standard of having a window of exclusivity (usually 90 days) between the theatrical and home video releases. The concept was used by several independent films released in the 2000s.
