Thimo Nickl
Thimo Nickl (born 4 December 2001) is an Austrian professional ice hockey defenceman who is currently playing for EC KAC of the ICE Hockey League (ICEHL). Nickl was drafted by the Anaheim Ducks, 120th overall, in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career Nickl began his career with hometown club EC KAC in Klagenfurt and worked his way through the club's youth teams. He made his adult debut for the club in October 2016 in the Alps Hockey League. In 2019, he joined Drummondville Voltigeurs in the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League. Nickl was drafted in the 4th round, 104th overall, in the 2020 NHL entry draft by the Anaheim Ducks. In the process, he became the first Austrian player ever selected by the club and the first player from Klagenfurt ever taken in the draft by any team. Reading Royals
The Reading Royals are a professional ice hockey team that currently plays in the ECHL. The team participates in the North Division of the ECHL's Eastern Conference. The Royals play their home games at the Santander Arena located in downtown Reading, Pennsylvania. Since 2001, the Royals have ranked among ECHL leaders in regular season attendance. The Cincinnati Cyclones are a professional ice hockey team based in Cincinnati, Ohio. The team is a member of the ECHL. Originally established in 1990, the team first played their games in the Cincinnati Gardens and now play at Heritage Bank Center. The Wheeling Nailers are a professional ECHL ice hockey team based in Wheeling, West Virginia. American Hockey League
The American Hockey League (AHL) is a professional ice hockey league based in the United States and Canada that serves as the primary developmental league for the National Hockey League (NHL). Since the 2010–11 season, every team in the league has an affiliation agreement with one NHL team.
