Thermaikos Thermis Football Club () is a Greek football club based in Thermi, Macedonia, Greece. It was founded in 1949. History With its establishment in 1949, Thermaikos Thermis had a men's football section. Its seat is the Thermi Stadium, which has natural turf and has a seating capacity of 600. In the 2015–16 season, they competed in the A1 division of the Macedonia FCA League. One of the most important moments in the history of Thermaikos was their promotion to the Delta Ethniki, where they competed for 3 years. They won the 2003–04 season Delta Ethniki's 2nd group title, followed by promotion to the Gamma Ethniki, where they competed for 7 years. They won the 2013–14 cup of Macedonia FCA League, defeating GS Ilioupolis with 3–0 and in 2018–19 Poseidon Michaniona with 1–3, while in 2015–16 season they lost in the cup final of the cup against Makedonikos with a 2–1. The Gamma Ethniki (, C National Division) is the Greek football league system, third highest football league in Greece. History The Gamma Ethniki began in 1965 as an amateur championship, while in 1983 it was changed to professional. Although not literally national (it is divided into ''North'' and ''South'' groups), Football League 2 is considered as a national division. On 3 August 2010, it was announced that the division had been renamed ''Football League 2''. From season 2013–14, the football League 2 was merged with the Delta Ethniki, fourth division championship (Delta Ethniki) and renamed Gamma Ethniki once more. 2023–24 Gamma Ethniki
The 2023–24 Gamma Ethniki was the 42nd season since the official establishment of the championship in 1982 and the 3rd tier of Greek football after the restructuring of 2021. It has an amateur character, while the Hellenic Football Federation (HFF) is responsible for the conduct of the championship. The competition started on 17 September 2023 and concluded on 28 April 2024, and was conducted in four groups, in contrast to 2022–23 Gamma Ethniki, 2022–23 season, when it was conducted in five groups. 72 teams were participating and 30 of them were relegated at the end of the season. Macedonia Football Clubs Association ( ''Énosi Podosferikón Somatíon Makedonías'' or Ε.Π.Σ.Μ.) is an association responsible for administering football in the Prefecture of Thessaloniki. It was formed in 1924 as ''Football Union of Macedonia and Thrace'' ( ''Podosferikí Énosi Makedonías Thrákis'') and it administrated football in the regions of West Macedonia, Central Macedonia and East Macedonia and Thrace. Since 1935 its area of responsibility was restricted within the borders of the Prefecture of Thessaloniki. Founding members of the union were Aris, Iraklis and Megas Alexandros. Delta Ethniki
Delta Ethniki () was the fourth level of Greek football championship. During the period of its existence, it was the lowest national division of the Greek championship. It was founded in the 1982–83 season and abolished in the 2012–13 season, as it was merged with the third division (Football League 2). Its history therefore spans 31 years. Many historical clubs of first division (Super League) have played in Delta Ethniki, such as Iraklis (2011–12 season), Ethnikos Piraeus, Apollon Smyrnis and Atromitos.
