Therezinha Mandetta Trad
Therezinha Mandetta Trad (12 February 1937 – 22 February 2023) was a Brazilian educator and the matriarch of the prominent Trad family. She was married to former federal deputy Nelson Trad Sr., with whom she had five children, including Mayor Marcos Marcello Trad; former federal deputy Fábio Trad; and Senator Nelsinho Trad. Early life and education Therezinha Mandetta was born in the late 1930s. She began her professional career as a normalist in the 1950s, teaching at Colégio Auxiliadora. Career Dedicated to education, Therezinha was a respected teacher who contributed significantly to her community. In 1979, she furthered her commitment to education by graduating in Pedagogy from FUCMT. Personal life She was the mother of five children: Fátima, Maria Thereza, Marquinhos, Fábio, and Nelsinho. Campo Grande
Campo Grande (, ) is the capital and largest city of the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso do Sul in the Center-West region of the country. The city is nicknamed ''Cidade Morena'' ("Swarthy City" in Portuguese) because of the reddish-brown colour of the region's soil. It has a population of 906,092, according to a 2020 IBGE estimate,. Marcos Marcello Trad (born August 28, 1964) is a Brazilian lawyer and politician who served as the 64th Mayor of Campo Grande from 2017 until his resignation from office in 2022. Prior to this, he was a city councilor for Campo Grande from 2005 to 2007 and a state deputy for Mato Grosso do Sul from 2007 to 2016, serving three consecutive terms. Born in Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul, to Nelson Trad and Therezinha Mandetta Trad. He is married to Tatiana Trad and has four daughters: Andressa, Aline, Mariana, and Alice. Nelson Trad Filho (born 5 September 1961), better known as Nelsinho Trad, is a Brazilian physician and politician, affiliated with the Social Democratic Party (PSD), is currently a senator for Mato Grosso do Sul. Son of the politician Nelson Trad Sr., he graduated in Medicine from Universidade Gama Filho in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The Chamber of Deputies ( pt, Câmara dos Deputados) is a federal legislative body and the lower house of the National Congress of Brazil. The chamber comprises 513 deputies, who are elected by proportional representation to serve four-year terms. The current President of the Chamber is the Deputy Arthur Lira ( PP- AL), who was elected on 1 February 2021. Structure The number of deputies elected is proportional to the size of the population of the respective state (or of the Federal District) as of 1994.
