Arizona's 24th legislative district is one of 30 in the state, consisting of a section of Maricopa County. As of 2023, there are 38 precincts in the district, all in Maricopa, with a total registered voter population of 87,214. The district has an overall population of 234,992. Following the 2020 United States redistricting cycle, the Redistricting in Arizona, Arizona Independent Redistricting Commission (AIRC) redrew legislative district boundaries in Arizona. The 24th district was drawn as a majority Latino constituency, with 65% of residents being Hispanic or Latino. Amanda Aguirre
Amanda Aguirre (born February 6, 1953) is a Democratic politician. She served as an Arizona State Senator from 2006 to 2010 and as an Arizona State Representative from 2003 to 2006 for District 24. In May 2012, Aguirre announced that she was entering the race to represent Arizona's 3rd congressional district. Personal life Aguirre has been involved in public health education and administration. She has put a strong emphasis on the health issues involved with the U.S.-Mexico border. Aguirre lives in Yuma, Arizona. Russell Jones was a member of the Arizona House of Representatives, representing Arizona's 24th District twice, the first time from January 2005 until January 2007, and the second time for two terms from January 2009 to January 2013. York is a city in and the county seat of York County, Nebraska, United States. At the 2010 census, the city population was 7,766.
