The Disney Channel original series ''Wizards of Waverly Place'' was created by Todd J. Greenwald. The series first aired on October 12, 2007, and ended on January 6, 2012. ''Wizards Beyond Waverly Place'' is an American Television comedy, comedy television series developed by Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas, serving as a spinoff (media), spinoff and sequel to ''Wizards of Waverly Place''.
