Theodore Dieckmann
Theodore Dieckmann (November 6, 1853 – October 6, 1919) was an American politician and businessman. Born in New York City, Dieckmann moved with his parents to Sheboygan, Wisconsin in 1858. Dieckmann owned a jewelry business in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. He served on the Sheboygan Common Council and was mayor of the city. In 1893, Dieckmann served in the Wisconsin State Assembly The Wisconsin State Assembly is the lower house of the Wisconsin Legislature. Sheboygan () is a city in and the county seat of Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 49,929 at the 2020 census. It is the principal city of the Sheboygan, Wisconsin Metropolitan Statistical Area, which has a population of 118,034. Wisconsin State Assembly
The Wisconsin State Assembly is the lower house of the Wisconsin Legislature. Together with the smaller Wisconsin Senate, the two constitute the legislative branch of the U.S. state of Wisconsin. Representatives are elected for two-year terms, elected during the fall elections. If a vacancy occurs in an Assembly seat between elections, it may be filled only by a special election. The Wisconsin Constitution limits the size of the State Assembly to between 54 and 100 members inclusive.
