Theo Grant
Theo Grant (born October 31, 2000) is a Canadian professional football offensive lineman. He most recently played for the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League (CFL). University career Grant played U Sports football for the Queen's Gaels from 2019 to 2023. He did not play in 2020 due to the cancellation of the 2020 U Sports football season. Professional career Grant was drafted in the fourth round, 32nd overall, by the Montreal Alouettes in the 2023 CFL Draft and signed with the team on May 11, 2023. Following 2023 training camp, he returned to Queen's to complete his university eligibility. On January 10, 2024, it was announced that Grant had re-signed with the Alouettes to a three-year contract. In gridiron football, a lineman is a player who specializes in play at the line of scrimmage. The linemen of the team currently in possession of the ball are the offensive line (OL), while linemen on the opposing team are the defensive line (DL). Winnipeg Blue Bombers
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are a professional Canadian football team based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The Blue Bombers compete in the Canadian Football League (CFL) as a member club of the league's West Division (CFL), West division. They play their home games at Princess Auto Stadium. The 2024 Montreal Alouettes season was the 57th season for the team in the Canadian Football League and their 69th overall. The Alouettes entered the season as defending Grey Cup champions following their victory in the 110th Grey Cup game. While on a bye in week 13, the Alouettes clinched a playoff berth for the fifth consecutive season. 2020 U Sports Football Season
The 2020 U Sports football season was scheduled to feature the Canadian football competition under the auspices of U Sports as the highest level of competition for amateur football in Canada in 2020. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Canada, U Sports cancelled the national championships, and the Atlantic University Sport, Canada West, and Ontario University Athletics conferences announced the complete cancellation of their schedules on June 8. The conference waited to decide until September 14, when they also announced that all university sports were cancelled for the remainder of 2020. The Queen's Gaels (also known as the Queen's Golden Gaels) is the athletics program representing Queen's University at Kingston, Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
