Fred Thelonious Baker
Fred Thelonious Baker (born 4 June 1960) is an English guitarist and jazz bass guitarist from Tibshelf, Derbyshire. He is known for playing in Phil Miller's Canterbury scene band In Cahoots. Baker played the guitar until his mid-teens, at which point he began to take an interest in the bass as well. He played in The John Etheridge/Ric Sanders Group in the early 1980s. He has also worked with his own group, the Fred Thelonious Baker Group who recorded a self-titled album in 1984. Baker has recorded several albums with Harry Beckett. They have also made a concert tour in Europe together. Baker accompanied Beckett's band on a Charles Mingus tribute tour in the UK. Other artists Baker has worked with include Horace Parlan, Vikki Clayton and Elton Dean. Baker joined In Cahoots in April 1988, replacing their bassist Hugh Hopper. Thelonious "Thelo" Gerard Aasgaard (born 2 May 2002) is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Luton Town. Born in England, he represents the Norway national team. Early life and youth career Aasgaard was born in Liverpool in 2002. Both of his parents have musical backgrounds; his father Jonathan is a professional cellist, and his mother Georgina is a music and health practitioner. ''A Little Romance'' is a 1979 American romantic comedy film directed by George Roy Hill and starring Laurence Olivier, Thelonious Bernard, and 13-year-old Diane Lane in her film debut. The screenplay was written by Allan Burns and George Roy Hill, based on the novel ''E=mc2 Mon Amour'' (1977) by Patrick Cauvin. The original music score was composed by Georges Delerue. Malcolm Martin (born September 19, 1992), professionally known as Thelonious Martin or King Thelonious is an American hip hop record producer from Chicago, Illinois. He is a member of the Chicago collective Savemoney. Life and career Malcolm Martin was born on September 19, 1992, in Chicago, Illinois. However, shortly afterwards he and his mother moved to New Jersey. Martin states his love for music started when he was 14 after watching the late night network Adult Swim and hearing a song by late Hip hop producer J Dilla. Thelonious Sphere Monk ( October 10, 1917 – February 17, 1982) was an American Jazz piano, jazz pianist and composer. This is a list of compositions by jazz musician Thelonious Monk. 0-9 52nd Street Theme A contrafact based loosely on rhythm changes in C, and was copyrighted by Monk under the title "Nameless" in April 1944. The tune was also called "Bip Bop" by Monk, and he claims that the tune's latter title was the origin of the genre-defining name bebop. It quickly became popular as an opening and closing tune on the clubs on 52nd Street on Manhattan where Dizzy Gillespie and Charlie Parker played. It was first recorded by Dizzy Gillespie's sextet on February 22, 1946, under the title "52nd Street Theme". Leonard Feather claims he gave the latter title.
