The Yellow Squadron
''The Yellow Squadron'' (Swedish: ''Gula divisionen'') is a 1954 romantic drama film written and directed by Stig Olin and starring Lars Ekborg, Hasse Ekman and Ann-Marie Gyllenspetz.Qvist & Von Bagh p.111 It was released in the wake of the Korean War, set at the Svea Air Force Wing (F 8) main base located in Barkarby, just north of the Swedish capital Stockholm, and revolves around a fighter squadron of J 29 aircraft. It was shot at the Centrumateljéerna Studios in Stockholm and on location at the Barkarby Air Force Base. The film's sets were designed by the art director Nils Nilsson. Stig Olin, né ''Högberg'' (11 September 1920 – 28 June 2008) was a Sweden, Swedish actor, theatre director, songwriter and singer. Siv Ericks, real name Siv Gustava Essy-Ehsing (born Eriksson; 31 July 1918 in Oxelösund – 3 July 2005 in Onsala), was a Swedish actress who performed in 66 Swedish films over a 53-year career. Torsten Lilliecrona (4 January 1921 – 15 October 1999) was a Swedish actor. He is mostly famous for his role as Melker Melkersson in the highly successful TV show ''Vi på Saltkråkan'' (Life on Seacrow Island) for which Astrid Lindgren wrote the script. He starred in over 100 productions in film and television before his death in 1999Torsten Lilliecrona at the Swedish Film Institute

Elsa Margareta "Meg" Westergren (born 16 May 1932) is a Swedish actress from Nockeby, Bromma, in Stockholm. John Elfström
Per Johan Hilding "John" Elfström (20 April 1902 – 27 March 1981) was a Swedish film actor who appeared in more than 120 films. He is most famous for starring in the Åsa-Nisse series of films. He foremost made lighter comedies, even if he sometimes also appeared in heavier contexts. Gertrud Fridh (26 November 1921 – 11 October 1984) was a Swedish stage and film actress.
