Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds
Sister Sparrow & the Dirty Birds is a Brooklyn, New York-based seven-piece soul/rock band. The band is led by singer Arleigh Kincheloe, with Jackson Kincheloe on harmonica, Josh Myers on bass, Dan Boyden on drums, Phil Rodriguez on trumpet, and Brian Graham on baritone and tenor saxophones. Since 2011, Sister Sparrow & the Dirty Birds have played at venues across the US and Canada. Their list of festival appearances includes Bonnaroo, Firefly, Mountain Jam, Bear Creek, Telluride Jazz, High Sierra, Rooster Walk, Harvest Jazz Festival and late-night sets at Austin City Limits and the Jazz & Heritage Festival in New Orleans. Thirty Tigers is an American music marketing, distribution and management company for independent artists, based in Nashville. History The company was founded in 2002 by David Macias and Deb Markland and is distributed by The Orchard. In 2014, Thirty Tigers entered into a strategic partnership with Sony Music Nashville to promote Chase Rice's single " Ready Set Roll" and album '' Ignite the Night''. This was possibly the first time in country music that a major label paid only for radio promotion. Ryan Hadlock
Ryan Hadlock (born 1978) is an American record producer, best known for his production work on platinum-selling album '' The Lumineers'' by The Lumineers. Career Hadlock has been around music his entire life, as his parents Joe and Manny Hadlock founded Bear Creek Studio in 1977. The studio has remained family-owned for two generations, and is now headed by Ryan. Joe Hadlock was in a number of Seattle bands, and their family home and studio were places where creativity was always encouraged, and part of the fabric of business and socializing. Ryan grew up around famous musicians, but also many talented studio players who didn't achieve fame, but taught him much about how records were crafted. Hadlock studied sound recording in London and at The Evergreen State College. ''Fowl Play'' is Sister Sparrow & the Dirty Birds' first and so far their only live album, released on March 4, 2016 on Party Fowl Records, Thirty Tigers. The album was recorded on New Year's Eve, 2015, although not in the originally planned venue, Daryl's House in New York (Daryl Hall Daryl Franklin Hohl (born October 11, 1946), known professionally as Daryl Hall, is an American rock, R&B, and soul singer. He is best known as the co-founder and principal lead vocalist of Hall & Oates, with guitarist and songwriter John Oa ...'s concert venue). Just a month in advance of their concert, Daryl decided to play that night at his joint, and the Dirty Bird's concert was canceled, and the band had to scramble to find another hall to play in for their planned recorded concert. Theron Otis Feemster, also known by the names Ron Feemster or Neff-U, is an American record producer, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter. Life and career Feemster was born and raised in Grover, North Carolina, where his family was very active in the local non-denominational church, and several family members were musicians. After graduating high school, he studied at Berklee College of Music in Massachusetts. After two-and-a-half years at Berklee, Feemster moved to Los Angeles, where producer Big Chuck heard his rap and R&B demos.
