The twenty-sixth season of the American reality television series ''The Voice'' premiered on September 23, 2024, on NBC. The season is hosted by Carson Daly, who returns for his twenty-sixth season. The coaching panel consists of Reba McEntire, who returns for her third season; returning coach Gwen Stefani, who returns for her eighth season after a one-season hiatus; and debuting coaches Michael Bublé and Snoop Dogg. Sofronio Vasquez was named the winner of the season, marking Michael Bublé's first win as a coach, with Bublé becoming the fourth new coach, after Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and Niall Horan to win on his debut season. Carson Jones Daly (born June 22, 1973) is an American television host, radio personality, producer, and television personality. From 1998 to 2003, Daly was a VJ (media personality), VJ on MTV's ''Total Request Live'' (TRL), and a DJ for the Southern California-based radio station KROQ-FM, 106.7 KROQ-FM. "Heartache Tonight" is a song written by Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Bob Seger and JD Souther, recorded by the Eagles and features Glenn Frey on lead vocals. The track was included on their album '' The Long Run'' and released as a single in 1979. It reached No. 1 on the U.S. ''Billboard'' Hot 100 in November of that year and was certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America representing one million copies sold. It was the Eagles' final chart-topping song on the Hot 100. Composition The song originated from an electric jam session between Frey and Souther, who would visit Frey's home in Los Angeles whenever he was in town on tour. The Four Tops are an American vocal group formed in Detroit, Michigan in 1953 as the Four Aims. They were one of the most commercially successful American pop music groups of the 1960s and helped propel Motown Records to international fame. The group's repertoire has incorporated elements of Soul music, soul, R&B, disco, adult contemporary music, adult contemporary, doo-wop, jazz, and show tunes.
