Alan Braxe
Alain Quême (), known professionally as Alan Braxe (born 9 July 1971), is a French electronic musician. He is most widely known for his collaborative work with the musicians Fred Falke and Kris Menace, and for being part of the musical trio Stardust. In 2005, he released '' The Upper Cuts'', a collection of his previously released material. He is the cousin of French electronic musician DJ Falcon, with whom he is a member of the French touch duo Braxe + Falcon. Biography Alan Braxe started playing the clarinet and cello at an early age. In the late 1980s, he became a DJ in Paris. He started producing his own dance music using only a mixer, a compressor, and an Emu SP1200. Within a year, Braxe's early demos attracted the attention of Thomas Bangalter, and Braxe's debut single, "Vertigo", was released in 1997 via Bangalter's Roulé label. Justice is a French electronic music duo consisting of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay. They are known for incorporating strong rock and disco influences into their music and image. The band's debut album ''Cross'' was released in June 2007 to critical acclaim. Bertrand Lagros de Langeron, known professionally as So Me, is a French graphic designer, animator, director and music producer. He is the art director for Ed Banger Records and also releases his own tracks on that label. He has created videos for DJ Mehdi, Kanye West, Kid Cudi, Justice, and MGMT. Frédérick Falke (; born 7 January 1973) is a French house and dance music producer and DJ. Biography Falke started out as a bass player before moving to production work. His first record, a collaboration with Alan Braxe named ''Intro'', which sampled The Jets' 1987 hit " Crush on You", was released in 2000 on Vulture Music. The pair would form a very productive partnership releasing a handful of singles and later making remixes for Goldfrapp, Röyksopp, Kelis, Justice, and others. The partnership would last until 2008 when they went their separate ways. Falke has also collaborated with German producer and DJ Kris Menace, as well as releasing records on Menace's label Work It Baby.
