It is a Hindi-English language, English drama-thriller film with English subtitles shot on HDV in black-and-white. It is touted as India's first Mumblecore, Mumble Core film. The film was shot entirely on location in Mumbai, India. Namrata Joshi is an Indian film critic based in New Delhi. Originally working for ''Outlook'', she remained there from 1999 till 2015, when she joined ''The Hindu''.
