The Three Happy Friends
''The Three Happy Friends'' (Spanish: ''Las tres alegres comadres'') is a 1952 Mexican musical comedy film directed by Tito Davison and starring Amalia Aguilar, Lilia Prado and Lilia del Valle. Agrasánchez p.39 It should not be confused with '' The Three Happy Compadres'' released the same year. It was shot at the Churubusco Studios in Mexico City. The film's sets were designed by the art director José Rodríguez Granada. It was followed by a sequel ''My Three Merry Widows'' in 1953. Synopis After their attempts to break into filmmaking or nightclub performances in Mexico City, three young woman break up with their boyfriends and form a trio to tour the country. Gloria Mestre Rodríguez (July 28, 1928 – December 9, 2012) was a Mexican dancer, choreographer, and actress in film, stage, and television. Wolf Ruvinskis
Wolf Ruvinskis (October 31, 1921 – November 9, 1999), born Wolf Ruvinskis Manevics, was a Latvian-Mexican actor and professional wrestler. He was married to dancer Armida Herrera. Born to a Latvian mother and a Ukrainian father, of Jewish background, they relocated to Argentina in 1923. In spite of living in extreme poverty he excelled in sports and as a professional wrestler he toured South America, the United States and Mexico. This last country became his place of residence where he stayed in the ring well into the 1960s, wrestling El Santo, Black Shadow, El Médico Asesino and Lobo Negro. Joaquín Cordero
Joaquín Cordero (; August 16, 1922 – February 19, 2013) was a Mexican actor of the cinema, theatre and telenovelas. Biography Shortly after his birth, Cordero's family moved to Mexico City. In the following years he studied in a seminary and even considered becoming a priest, but eventually he decided to pursue a law career. After three years of law classes he decided to become an actor against his family's wishes. He initially appeared in small roles but by his early fifties he was getting much larger roles. Eventually he became one of the most popular actors in Mexican cinema.
