The Ten (other)
The TEN is a track and field meeting held at the JSerra Catholic High School track in San Juan Capistrano, California, United States. Since 2023 it is a World Athletics Continental Tour Silver level meetingthe third-highest level of international athletics meetings behind the Diamond League and Gold tier. The TEN was founded in 2021 by Jesse Williams and is sponsored by Sound Running. It was inspired by the Night of the 10,000m PBs. In addition to prize money, athletes are paid by sharing revenue and tips from a pay-per-view broadcast of the event. In its founding year, only a men's and women's 10,000 metres were contested, but in subsequent years other running events were added as required to bring the meeting up to Continental Tour Silver status. The Silver designation awards extra World Athletics Rankings points for placement, helping athletes qualify for athletics at the Summer Olympics and World Athletics Championships competitions. San Juan Capistrano, California
San Juan Capistrano (also known colloquially as San Juan or SJC) is a city in southern Orange County, California, United States. Marc Scott
Marc Scott (born 21 December 1993) is a British long-distance runner. He took his first global medal with bronze in the 3000 metres at the 2022 World Indoor Championships. He is the European indoor record holder for the 5000 metres. Scott represented Great Britain in the 5000 metres at the 2017 London and the 2019 Doha World Athletics Championships and at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Scott was also a key player in the Mafeking Wide Games. Running career Scott started running at the age of 11. Nicolas Young (born July 27, 2002) is an American long-distance runner who holds the American record in the outdoor 5000 meters, with a time of 12:45.27. He is a two-time NCAA champion having won both the 3000 m and 5000 m at the 2024 NCAA Indoor Championships while competing for Northern Arizona University. 1500 M
The 1500 metres or 1500-metre run is the foremost middle distance track event in athletics. The distance has been contested at the Summer Olympics since 1896 and the World Championships in Athletics since 1983. It is equivalent to 1.5 kilometers or approximately  miles. The event is closely associated with its slightly longer variant, the mile run, from which it derives its nickname "the metric mile". Luis Miguel Grijalva (born 10 April 1999) is a Guatemalan Long-distance running, long-distance Running, runner. Mohamed Hrezi
Mohamed Fuad "Mo" Hrezi (born 28 October 1991) is a Libyan-American marathon runner. He competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in the marathon and finished in 77th place with a time of 2:21:17. He was the flag bearer for Libya at the Parade of Nations. Hrezi was born and raised in the United States; he qualified to compete for Libya through dual citizenship. Running career Hrezi took up cross country running in eighth grade because it was the only sport available. By the time he graduated from Naugatuck High School, he recorded 1:55.45 for 800 meters and 4:28.35 for the mile. Jack Rayner
Rupert John Rayner (11 April 1921 – 17 May 2008) was an Australian state and national representative rugby league player and NSWRFL coach. His club playing career was with the South Sydney Rabbitohs from 1946 to 1957 and he also represented New South Wales on eleven occasions and played in five Test matches for the Australian national side. War service Rayner served with the AIF in World War II in Papua New Guinea. He played rugby league in some inter-regiment games and was spotted by former Kangaroo and South Sydney coach Eric Lewis, who suggested that Rayner try out for Souths once the war ended. Mohammed Ahmed (born January 5, 1991) is a Canadian long-distance runner. A four-time Olympian, he is his country's most successful athlete in long distance racing, being the first to medal in the 5000 metres at both the World Championships (bronze in 2019) and the Olympic Games (silver in 2021). Ishmael Rokitto Kipkurui (born 10 February 2005), also spelled Ishmael Kipkirui, Ishmael Kirui, or Ismael Kipkurui, is a Kenyan middle- and long-distance runner.
