The ''Sunday Mail'' is a Scottish tabloid newspaper published every Sunday. It is the sister paper of the '' Daily Record'' and is owned by Reach plc. It should not be confused with ''The Mail on Sunday''; the ''Daily Mail'' was unable to use the title ''Sunday Mail'' when it launched a Sunday edition in 1982 because of the Scottish paper. History The paper was founded in Glasgow in 1919. In 1922, Gomer Berry (later 1st Viscount Kemsley) bought the ''Sunday Mail'', its sister paper the '' Daily Record'', and another newspaper, the ''Glasgow Evening News'', for £1 million. He formed a controlling company known as Associated Scottish Newspapers Ltd. Kemsley sold all three papers to the London-based Mirror Group in 1955. In September 1999, when Editor Jim Cassidy was sacked, the paper's circulation was 767,000. ''The Sunday Mail'' is published in tabloid format, comprising several sections that can be extracted and read separately. It is available for purchase throughout Queensland, most regions of Northern New South Wales and parts of the Northern Territory. Publishing The newspaper is published by Queensland Newspapers, part of News Corp Australia, whose parent company is News Corp. ''The Mail on Sunday'' is a British conservative newspaper, published in a tabloid format. Founded in 1982 by Lord Rothermere, it is the biggest-selling Sunday newspaper in the UK. Its sister paper, the ''Daily Mail'', was first published in 1896. In July 2011, following the closure of the '' News of the World'', ''The Mail on Sunday'' sold 2.5 million copies a week—making it Britain's biggest-selling Sunday newspaper—but by September that had fallen back to just under 2 million. ''Shapeshifter'' is the second studio album by American alternative rock band Marcy Playground, released on November 2, 1999, by Capitol Records. The album's first single was " It's Saturday", which peaked at No. 25 on the ''Billboard'' Modern Rock Tracks chart. The band promoted the album by touring with Blinker the Star. Production Produced by frontman John Wozniak, ''Shapeshifter'' was recorded at Sabella Studios in Roslyn Heights, New York, and mixed at Mushroom Studios in Vancouver; Wozniak ended up buying and renovating the latter venue. ''Mail on Sunday'' is the debut studio album by American rapper Flo Rida, and was released on March 18, 2008 under Atlantic, and Poe Boy Entertainment. It spawned three singles; the first, " Low" was number one on the U.S. ''Billboard'' Hot 100 for 10 weeks. The second, and third singles, "Elevator", and " In the Ayer", were successful as well, being top 20 hits. "Roll" featuring Sean Kingston was not an official single, but it managed to peak at number 59 on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100, and number 43 on the Canadian Hot 100 due to digital sales in both countries. Music T-Pain, who laced the first single, is only one of the many featured guests throughout the album. Timbaland, who produced the second single "Elevator", is also featured on the track.
