The Spring Bintulu is a shopping mall in Bintulu, Bintulu Division, Sarawak, Malaysia. Located at Jalan Tun Abdul Razak, it was scheduled to be opened in November 2018 but only did so in January 2019. It has three anchor tenants which are H&M, Parkson and Ta Kiong Supermarket. tHe Spring Bintulu has the capacity to house 127 shopping outlets spread out over two floors. It also offers a seafront esplanade for major mall events, a food court with 686 seats and a vantage point which offers a panoramic view of the South China Sea from the alfresco area. Bintulu
Bintulu is a coastal town on the island of Borneo in the central region of Sarawak, Malaysia. Bintulu is located northeast of Kuching, northeast of Sibu, and southwest of Miri, Malaysia, Miri. With a population of 114,058 as of 2010, Bintulu is the capital of the Bintulu District, Bintulu Division of Sarawak, Malaysia. The name of Bintulu was derived from the local native language "Mentu Ulau" (picking heads). Bintulu was a small fishing village within the Bruneian Empire prior to annexation by Rajah James Brooke in 1861. Brooke later built a fort there in 1862. In 1867, the first General Council meeting (now Sarawak State Legislative Assembly) was convened in Bintulu. It is the earliest state legislature system in Malaysia.
