The Wedding (formerly known as Easier Said) were an American alternative rock band from Fayetteville, Arkansas, United States. Musically, The Wedding fuses elements of Alternative rock, pop punk, ska, piano rock, and post-hardcore with their pop rock base. The band was signed to independent Brave New World Records, but the label was closed in 2009; leaving the band with no label. The band has toured with the likes of Thousand Foot Krutch, Love and Death, Bachman–Turner Overdrive, Bleach, John Reuben, The Goodnight Fight, Last Tuesday, Number One Gun, Anberlin, Spoken, Disciple, The O.C. Supertones, Superchic The Fold, House of Heroes and Falling Up. Cornerstone Festival
Cornerstone Festival was a Christian music festival put on by Jesus People USA and held annually around July 4 near Bushnell, Illinois, drawing some 20,000 attendees each year. In a given year, many artists that played at Cornerstone also played at other events such as Creation Festival and mainstream festivals and tours such as the Warped Tour. The final festival was held in 2012. Cornerstone Festival was a member of the Christian Festival Association. History From 1984 to 1990, Cornerstone was held at the Lake County Fairgrounds near Grayslake, Illinois. In 1991, Cornerstone moved near the town of Bushnell (outside Macomb, Illinois, Macomb) where the organizers of the festival purchased a large piece of land, which is now called "Cornerstone Farm". Anberlin
Anberlin is an American alternative rock band formed in Winter Haven, Florida, in 2002. Since the beginning of 2007, the band consists of lead vocalist Stephen Christian, guitarists Joseph Milligan and Christian McAlhaney, bassist Deon Rexroat, and drummer Nathan Young. Members of Anberlin originally formed a band under the name SaGoh 24/7 in 1998, releasing two studio albums before disbanding, with the members having a change in musical direction and name. Anberlin was formed in 2002; within a year of forming, they had signed with semi-independent record label Tooth & Nail Records and released their debut album, '' Blueprints for the Black Market''. Mark Lee Townsend
Mark Lee Townsend is an American multi-instrumentalist and record producer best known as guitarist for the Christian rock band dc Talk and as the long-time producer for Christian rock band Relient K. Career Townsend's career started as a member, singer, guitarist and songwriter for the pop and Christian band Bash 'N The Code from 1986 through 1991. He played with dc Talk from 1996 until their hiatus in 2001. In between dcTalk tours, he was a lead guitarist for the Christian artist Jennifer Knapp. At the Cornerstone Festival 2000, he appeared doing an acoustic act where he ended his show with a rendition of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody". During his time with dc Talk, he and other members of the band formed the band, Zilch, which would become the band Sonicflood, and made the album "Platinum" for Gotee Records. ''The Wedding'' is the first self-titled release from the American punk rock band, The Wedding (band), The Wedding. It was released February 15, 2005 on Rambler Records, and is the only album put out by the band to have four members. Two singles have been released from this album, "Move this City" and "Song for the Broken". No music videos have been released for this cd, single or otherwise. The album received mostly positive reviews and the band soon released a follow-up EP, ''Rumble in the South'', with bonus songs and later a second album, ''Polarity (The Wedding album), Polarity''. This album includes guest vocals from Matt Thiessen of Relient K in the song "But A Breath". Sound The Wedding's debut release is lighter than other albums; this is because of the band only having four members at the time of this release. Falling Up (band)
Falling Up is an American rock band from Albany, Oregon. Falling Up formed in October 2001 and released their debut album '' Crashings'' in 2004. They were signed to BEC Recordings in 2003 after a recommendation from friends in the band Kutless. Their lyrics were heavily inspired by their conundrums with spirituality. Over time, the lyrics became more abstract and poetic as the band's style shifted from alternative rock to a more experimental direction and they started creating more diverse music.
