''The Same Old Blues'' is the debut album from UK rock group Proud Mary. The album was recorded at Wheeler End Studios in November 2000 over a period of 7 days and released on Noel Gallagher's Sour Mash label. The album was produced by Noel Gallagher assisted by Gem Archer, engineered by Stan Kybert and mixed by Mark "Spike" Stent at Olympic Studios in London. The album was released in June, 2001 and reached #94 on the UK album charts. Proud Mary (band)
Proud Mary are an English blues/rock band formed in 1998 in Manchester, England. The current line up consists of Greg Griffin (lead vocals), Paul Newsome (guitars, vocals), Tony Auton (lead guitar), Nathan Birkett (bass, guitars), and Hani Abbasi (drums). Proud Mary released their fifth studio album ''Songs from Catalina'' on 26 June 2020. Keith Richards

Andy Bell (Welsh Musician)
Andrew Piran Bell (born 11 August 1970) is a Welsh musician. He is one of two vocalists and guitarists of the rock band Ride (band), Ride, and is the bassist of Oasis (band), Oasis from 1999 until their breakup in 2009 and since their reunion in 2024. Bell was also a member of Hurricane No. 1, Hurricane #1 as well as Beady Eye, an offshoot of Oasis, until their breakup in 2014. With Ride, Bell helped pioneer shoegaze, an alternative rock subgenre which reached its peak popularity in the early 1990s. Bell also wrote one song or more on each of Oasis' final three albums. "Salt of the Earth" is the final song from English rock band the Rolling Stones album ''Beggars Banquet'' (1968). Written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, the song includes an opening lead vocal by Richards. It is the second official track by the group to feature him on lead vocal (the first being " Something Happened to Me Yesterday" from ''Between the Buttons'').
