The Reading Room (film)
''The Reading Room'' is a 2005 American television film, made-for-television drama (film and television), drama film that originally premiered on Hallmark Channel. It was directed by Georg Stanford Brown. Plot William Campbell (James Earl Jones) is a wealthy businessman who has just lost his wife. He decides to make good on a promise he made her by opening a free Reference library, reading room in an inner-city neighborhood where he grew up. Despite his good intentions, problems in the neighborhood threaten his establishment, especially from local gang members and a preacher (Georg Stanford Brown) who questions Campbell's motives. ''Tango & Cash'' is a 1989 American buddy cop film, buddy cop action comedy film starring Sylvester Stallone, Kurt Russell, Jack Palance, and Teri Hatcher. The film follows the titular pair of rival police detectives who are forced to work together after a criminal mastermind frames them for murder. The film was chiefly directed by Andrei Konchalovsky, with Albert Magnoli and Peter MacDonald (director), Peter MacDonald taking over in the later stages of filming, with Stuart Baird overseeing post-production. Keith Robinson is an American actor and contemporary R&B singer. Early life Robinson was born in Louisville, Kentucky, attended public schools in Greenville, South Carolina, and later moved to the Evans suburb of Augusta, Georgia. Georg Stanford Brown (born June 24, 1943) is an American actor and director, perhaps best known as one of the stars of the ABC police television series ''The Rookies'' from 1972 to 1976. On the show, Brown played the character of Officer Terry Webster. Early life and education Brown was born in Havana, Cuba to Jamaican immigrants. Brown was seven years old when his family moved from Havana to Harlem, New York. At age 15, he formed the singing group 'The Parthenons', which had a single TV appearance shortly before breaking up. Brown quit high school, after being invited to do so by a few frustrated teachers. He left New York to move to Los Angeles at 17.
